First of all, we(the Graphic Arts Class) just finished making our last movie and out theme was BULLYING!!!

Well we were seperated into 4 groups (6th grade, 7th, and 8th). We had a lot of arguments and disagrements, but it turned out great in the end. We tried to make it really funny, so we made a guy be the popular girl, Sandra and the girl the bully!!!

It was hard getting the actors out of class sometimes, because the teacher needed them or didn’t want them to skip class. It  was hard, but we did it and it was worth it. When we were editing the movie on Imovie, we also argued a lot, because if someone wanted to do something someone else didn’t want to then we had to compromise. The effects of the movie was great though, because the music fitted with the scenes so well (good thing we didn’t have a problem with the music!). We had to move the good parts from the bad ones (later on as blueperse), because sometimes the actors did it wrong and while someone was videoing the movie, someone else was videotaping the video person videotaping the move (the video person didn’t know!!! muahahahaha) Our movie was shown in chapel and well we forgot to move the music back when we added something else so the music came in at the wrong time, but it was still funny!!!

This movie was our first time making one and it was pretty hard but fun. There were times where our group argued a lot, but it turned out okay.
We were seperated into four groups like depending on your grade level. Each group had to first draw out a storyboard on what they were going to do. We did ours on sports. We made it on soccer and basketball. We argued on what to do in the movie but it turned out okay except for the voice over…to me. We decided that sice we only had 45 seconds to do this to just start the movie in the soccer field at like 7-10 feet away from the goal. We made Johnny goalie and Micah, Steve and Brian the players. Micah passed the ball to steve and he shoots it in. Then each person shoots it in the goal. Well at first it was pretty hard to shoot it, so we had some hard times, and in the end it was totally different from our storyboard. The hardest part was figuring out the time limit and shooting the scenes to me.

We were going to also shoot either volleyball or softball, but the gym wasn’t available and usually the soccerfield was used by the ninth graders. The only day that we used the soccerfield was when the ninth graders were inside.

Since the gym was being used, we used the basketball court near the playground and we asked the 8th grade group to be in the movie. We used Andy, Joel, and Rigel. Rigel had the ball at mid-court and Joel tries to take the ball, but Rigel dribbles and bounces the ball under Joel’s feet and then Andy tries to take it, but doesn’t succeed and then Rigel shoots it in the hoop. Daniel took this movie part and it was really good even though.

Now we used Imovie to complete the whole thing. So we combined the five movies together and edited it. Editing it was kind of not hard but… well we argued over who should be on the computer and who’s turn it was since we all wanted a turn. Well the only thing I didn’t like about it was that the voiceover was kind of weird and to fast and there were too many words.

In this short movie we will be teaching you how and why bullying is rude and not respectful to your classmates or to other people. In this movie, there will be an older boy, Daneil, who bullies kids younger than him. So please listen carefully to this movie and enjoy! If you listen carefully, you’ll understand the pressure of the bullied children. Also wonder why the bully’s doing all this for.

[Walking sound]…for about 5 seconds
[opens a door sound]…for 2 seconds

bully:hey kid, get over here…[whimpering and shoes squeaking]…faster kid.
bully: yes mmistttter?
bully:you got my lunch right this time? It’s tuna sandwich with three pieces of bread right?
kid 1:ummm…ddidn’t you say peannutt buttteeer and tuna sandwiichh?
[bully pulls the shirt of kid 1][whimpering]…2 seconds
bully:I said tuna only…can’t you hear…are you deaf…or are you just plain stupid!answer me!
bully:if you don’t get it right again…I’ll shut you into your own locker…got the idea!
kid 1:yyyeeesss ssirr!
bully:now get out of my way…beat it!
[pushing sound and more walking sound]…for 3 seconds

bully:okay everyone! I’ll give you three seconds to evacuate this building and until the late bell rings…1…2…3!!!
[driiiinnnggg]:bell rings
[everyone running in and walking sound]

teacher:Why in the world is everyone so late…spill it out…you guys look like you were all just shocked!
kid 2:the…I mean ummm…Maaaarrrkk was bullying us.
teacher:nonsense…he was just here wondering where you all were! Now stop putting the blame on him
kid 3:yes mam! [whispering:let’s just get to our seats]
kid 1:it’s not fair why do the teachers always believe in the bad guys!

45 MINUTES LATER
bully:hey you…ya you…give me your money…now…
girl 1:but I didn’t bring any money…
bully:well then let’s just stuff you into the janitor’s room…or the TRASH CAN!
girl 1:[screams and then faints]and other students pull her away
teacher:what is going on here
bully:Maria just screamed at me for no reason and then fainted
teacher:well where is she
kid 2:she’s at the nurse’s office

bully to girl 2:well you should have money so cough up…hurry…I don’t have much time!
girl 2: yes sir…[coins dropping]and running sound
bully:now that’s more like it! Well I think I’ll take Maria’s money tomorrow…

SUMMARY
There’s a bully Mark who takes money and lunches from innocent students. He also lies to teachers and gets the students in trouble instead of him. Like he made them all go outside and wait until they’re all late. Also he tries to take money from Maria, but she faints instead and he makes up a story to the teacher that she screamed at him for no reason and then fainted. Maybe the other students wanted to tell the teacher the truth, but are afraid to, because the bully has already made the teacher believe him and if they try to tell the truth, Mark will do something bad to them. Mark also tells the students what lunch he wants, but tells him the wrong lunch on purpose.

All you have to do is pick up trash and making your home beautiful and clean. I live by the sea and there are trash on the sand…so sometimes when I’m bored I go and pick bottles up and things like that. It’s a shame that people sometimes don’t care whether or not their surroundings are clean. This poster hopefully will help a bit.

Also to help clean up doesn’t take much…

All you need is a trash bag and maybe gloves…

Even if you only help a bit…that’s helping a lot already…

I think that on our island…the amount of trash is not much but in other places…there’s a lot of trash which makes pollution towards the air and ocean…the animals die and humans also DIE so help and save yourselves!!!!

I was trying to make a poster, but instead I made this. This maze has been sent to many plaes and no one has gone in and out successfully yet, so try this if you dare. (that story was not true, but…)

This maze starts on the north east corner of the drawing and you start there. Once you start that enter plae will be blocked so taht you can’t go out that way…anyways, you end where it ways end if you can get out. Like I said this mae was created acidentally, so only I know the seret…well I tried at least. Anyways the blueish dot on the drawing is a beast who eats anything in its way unless you go from the back. So if you are close to it, it goes after you towards your diretion, but if you’re on the other side of the maze the beast will not go anywhere and what I mean by how close you are is about the length of an eraser, so it’s easy to get away from the beast, but still hard to get out of the place. I might not know the way out, because I haven’t tried it, but it’s possible.

Try this mae and be prepared to LOSE!!!

Also you can’t go towards in anyway to go near the beast, if you do it’ll eat you.
